This policy explains how Prabhakar Kumar & Co., Chartered Accountants (“the firm”, “we”) collects and uses personal data through cfo360.co.in and in the course of professional engagements. It is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the ICAI Code of Ethics in mind.

1. What we collect

Enquiry form: name, mobile number, email (optional), city, the service you select and the details you type.
Engagements: information and documents you share for the work, such as PAN, income, turnover and tax records.
Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, and events such as button clicks and form submissions, collected through Google tags (Google Ads and, where enabled, Google Analytics) and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised page interactions such as clicks and scrolling to improve the site. By default Clarity masks sensitive content, including text typed into forms. IP addresses are used for spam and abuse prevention.

2. Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to deliver the agreed services.
To meet legal, regulatory and professional obligations.
To understand which pages help visitors and to measure enquiries from advertising.

We do not sell personal data and do not add enquiry details to marketing lists without your consent.

3. Legal basis and consent

Enquiry data is processed on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form. Engagement data is processed to perform the engagement and to comply with law. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect processing already done.

4. Sharing

Data is shared only as needed: with government portals and authorities when filing on your behalf (Income Tax Department, GSTN, MCA), with service providers who host our email, website and storage, or where the law requires it.

5. Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and are then deleted. Engagement records are retained for the periods required under tax, company and professional regulations.

6. Security

We use access-controlled email and storage and share documents only through channels agreed with you. Please do not send portal passwords through the website form.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or erasure of your personal data, and nominate another person to exercise these rights, subject to legal retention requirements. Grievances can be raised with the contact below and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
